We are writing with wonderful news. Nine days after posting on
Canada Adopts we were contacted by a set of birth parents and we became the
proud parents of a healthy, beautiful baby boy. Now that all waiting
periods have passed we wanted to make you aware of our amazing news. We
are so very blessed. It would not be possible if we hadn't posted on
Canada Adopts and we want to thank you for making this service available.
We've attached a couple of pictures of our little guy that were just taken
yesterday.

We're excited to let you know that thanks to Canada Adopts we are now a
family!! Our daughter, Ryleigh Madison was born and placed in our arms 10
minutes after she was born. We have been blessed with a beautiful, content
and easy-going little girl. Adoption has been the best thing for us, I

It's nice to know that Canada Adopts DOES work. We got a match back in late Feb and the baby (a boy!) is due June 25th. We've met the birthmom and she's a doll. Everything is going as smoothly as it possibly could and we're beside ourselves with glee. Just wanted you all to know, good things can happen to all of us here on Canada Adopts!

We have had another match through Canada Adopts! Canada Adopts! has been
so great and I recommend it to every one I speak to. We are going to be
sitting on a panel in April with the adoption agency in Victoria and I am
going to tell all the waiting parents about the site. We have had a few
contacts in the six months that we were registered with you but they did
not work out for varies reasons, eg..older child etc. I think the site is
fabulous and you guys are doing an excellent job. You know how to reach me
if I can be of any help whatsoever.

We are hoping you still have our picture so you can put us on the
congratulations page. How it appened, we were contacted by the birthmom,
her sister actually found us on Canada Adopts! and one other couple. I
guess after talking to both couples, the birthmom choose us. The birthmom
called us on a Thursday to say she was going into labour, we flew out and
on the Friday, when we finally held him in our arms, he was only 7 hrs
old. Thank godness we could both call work and say we would not be in, and
that I would not be back for a year. Anyhow he was placed with us through
a match on Canada Adopts! Thanks very much for such a wonderful site. I
still go on every few days to read what everyone else is talking about,
and if we decide to adopt again, we will not hesitate to put our profile back on.

I was almost 9 months pregnant when I responded to a "Dear Birth Mother"
letter on Canada Adopts! After just a few conversations and some e-mails I
was quite confident with my choice of parents. When I gave birth to my
baby girl the parents were there for the experience. There are some great
people out there and Canada Adopts! is a great way to find them. I am
still in contact with the parents as they have provided me with a phone n
and e-mail address, they send me updated photos of my baby. Thank You
Canada Adopts! for helping me provide to my little girl the best parents
she can have, and for the honesty in your "Dear Birth Mother" letters
which helped me make my choice.

We have a daughter!! She is beautiful and we were fortunate enough to be
at the birth. Birth parents are very well and everyone is happy. We are
blessed to have been chosen by such wonderful people. So you can now add
us to your list of matched parents : ) We are so thankful that the Canada Adopts! website was our road to this little angel. We were
contacted by the birth parents 2 weeks after being up on the site. Our
birth parents also want me to mention that they love the site also. It
made it easy for them to look into adoption in the privacy of their own

I put my baby girl up for adoption in February. I met the parents here and
really liked them. I am happy I did it cause I knew I couldn't look after
her as I am only 14. This was the best decision I ever made in my life.

It's been a while since we last e-mailed you to tell you we had been
contacted by a birthmother through your website. As you'll recall, our
Profile was posted on a Tuesday and the birthmother e-mailed us on
Wednesday evening. We ended up speaking with the birthmother over the
phone on the weekend and she wanted us to be present at the birth which
ended up being the following week. Although things happened extremely
fast, we have formed a great relationship with the birthmother and we all
feel that it was fate that brought us together. As an FYI, since we've
been involved in this match, we have been contacted by three more
birthmothers stating their interest in finding out more about us. We would
like to thank you so much for having set up such a useful website that
helped turn us into parents in just over a week! It's a shame that more
couples have not gone this route as it seems that birthmothers find it a
comfortable way to initiate contact with adoptive parents. Thanks again
for doing such a great job on your website and for all of your support.
